The Citroën Ami is a fully electric urban microcar specifically designed for easy mobility in a city environment. The Ami was launched in 2020 by French carmaker Citroën. Thanks to its zero-emission drivetrain and compact dimensions, the Ami offers an ideal solution for busy city traffic and environmental challenges.

The Ami stands out with its cube-shaped and symmetrical design, meaning the front and rear of the vehicle are almost identical. This makes production of these urban microcars simpler. At just 2.41 metres long and 1.39 metres wide, the Citroën Ami is easy to manoeuvre and park in tight city centres. The use of lightweight materials keeps the Ami affordable and energy-efficient!
The Citroën Ami has a top speed of 45 km/h, which means it can be driven in the Netherlands without a full driving licence from the age of 14. The range of approximately 75 kilometres on a full charge is ideal for daily commuting and other short city trips. Charging the 5.5 kWh battery takes around three hours via a standard household socket.
